The 2008 Buncombe County Bee School was a huge success!   Thanks to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Folk Art Center for allowing us to use this great venue again.     Photo by Calvin Robinson

Everyone at the bee school including students, volunteers and speakers had their own name tag.
The scholarship hive program provided a free bee hive to one out of six participants in the bee school.
Thanks to all the people who provided the scholarship hives.
There are a lot of seats in the Folk Art Center auditorium

Even this large school was no problem with all the great help from dedicated Club members from Buncombe County as well as sister clubs from other counties.
Stewart did a great job with equipment orders

This is the number one bee school in the country, I just heard Dr Tarpy say so.

I am not kidding, your school is the best
Dr Tarpy was a very popular speaker and we are fortunate to have gotten him to speak at our school

We have not heard much from Larry Sebren lately, but he is at it again. He has this beetree which is in a power company right of way. Larry is lucky because the power company is bringing it down and loading it onto his trailer. Thats the way I like it too.
